For many years HUBER+SUHNER has maintained a close relationship with a well-known Danish institution, which now appears to have paid off.Indeed, thanks to the acquisition of Cube Optics last year, HUBER+SUHNER can now meet their specific needs. The combination of H+S Modules with 8 CWDM channels has allowed our client to expand its local-based network.
They never had as many participants as last year (more than 7000) and with the resulting growth in data volume, the installation seriously had to expand the capacity of its fiber backbones between its various data centers.
In recent years, the Danish IT managers had to resort to solutions from our competitors, because HUBER+SUHNER did not offer WDM filters. However, thanks to our strong relationship management, were we always listen to our clients needs, this customer is now working even more closely with HUBER+SUHNER. The new possibilities offered by Cube Optics solutions and the good price and quality policy played a key role in this success.
From the start, the patrons IT managers liked the idea of the same 19" frames being used for both MTP modules and CWDM modules which meant that there was no need for a separate solution to be implemented for the wavelength multiplexer of Cube Optics.
For the entire project which started in February, the quick reaction of Cubo engineers to meet customer needs, was also a crucial factor. The integration of Cubo products in to HUBER+SUHNER modules happened without complications. This successful project was the first of its kind as it resulted from a combined solution from HUBER+SUHNER and Cube Optics. This is an exciting and groundbreaking example which all regions will follow.
